“I’d love to start by sharing a story that reminds me why I do what I do. Let me tell you about my client Debbie.” Nancy Gale sat in front of a rapt crowd at Luxury Roundtable’s Luxury Outlook Summit New York. “Whenever Debbie buys a JAMAH bag, we add a pouch with a little red bird. Debbie has a special book she reads to her grandchildren all about a little red bird, and it has become a part of their family’s lore.”
“Debbie’s collection of JAMAH bags is part of the legacy she will leave for her loved ones. They don’t know it yet, but when these JAMAH bags are passed on to Debbie’s daughters and granddaughters, they will open them to find their love for their beloved Debbie immortalized in that little red bird.”
On January 14, 2026, Nancy Gale sat on the Luxury Roundtable panel, “What Do Affluent and Wealthy Customers Want from Luxury Brands and Retailers?” She shared her decades of expertise with various stakeholders from the world of luxury. It was JAMAH’s commitment to personalization that struck a particular chord: since every JAMAH bag is made-to-order, the sky is the limit for customization.
The crowd was captivated by another of Nancy’s anecdotes: in every bespoke bag JAMAH designs, creates, and sells, there is a $100 bill with an elegant note describing the tradition of never giving a bag, change purse, or wallet without a little money tucked in to promote future prosperity. It is personal touches like these that lead to long-term client relationships.
Ultimately, it is Nancy’s one-on-one connections with clients that have inspired JAMAH’s indelible legacy. When clients get to know the real Nancy, it becomes about more than just a bag.
Nancy was grateful to share the stage at Luxury Roundtable with a swath of leaders in the luxury world. It was a particular joy to sit alongside her dear friend Cristina Cheever, Founder of Cheever Curated and Chief Marketing Officer at duPont REGISTRY Group, who spoke–as always–intelligently and with poise about her decades of insights into the luxury landscape.
An unexpected bonus at Luxury Roundtable was a chance in-person meeting with Gerry Spahn, Head of Communications for Americas Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and Jon Colbeth, President & CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Americas at the time. It wasn’t the first time Nancy had connected with Gerry. A year ago, the unparalleled Timothy Lappen, Fine Autos Editor, Haute Living, Time & Residence, introduced Nancy to Gerry, suspecting the two would find much in common. During their initial phone call, Gerry offered Nancy the priceless advice that the JAMAH Motorcar Collection should establish partnerships with luxury automobile retailers that carry multiple high-end brands. When Nancy shared her excitement for her conversation with Gerry with Cristina Cheever, Cristina immediately offered to introduce Nancy to Tim O’Hara at O’Gara Coach Beverly Hills. That introduction led to a dream collaboration: Tim asked Nancy to design a JAMAH wine caddy to accompany each of the 12 Koenigsegg Jeskos that drove out their doors. At Luxury Roundtable, Nancy was able to share the good news of this collaboration with Gerry in person.
Nancy was grateful to round out the experience the following day by attending the world’s first-ever Luxury AI summit. It was a powerful week of connection and learning, all thanks to the dogged work of the gracious Mickey ALAM KHAN: a man who knows luxury like no other. Despite the many ways our world is rapidly changing, Nancy left the conference reassured that the wisdom gained over an almost three-decade career remains timeless.
