Ellen was right on in her interview with Katie Couric, advising that people ‘find out who they are and live that truth.” Like-minded to the JAMAH motto, ‘be who you are,’ her philosophy inspires us, which is why we continue to follow in the footsteps of her relentless pursuit to grace the cover of O Magazine.
Thankfully, there is no shortage of holidays to enable our goal! We are convinced that there is no better way for Ellen to pay it forward than by celebrating St. Patricks’s Day by gifting her beloved Portia & her charities JAMAH’S DESIGN FOR YOUR CAUSE! Portia’s handbag is still ready to be created to show support for small business, being who you are and manufacturing in the USA!
Need a refresher? Keep reading to catch up on the campaign.
For JAMAH lovers, the JAMAH lifestyle means being who we are and spreading our goodwill, peace, love and happiness to all. Oh, and buying JAMAH bags, of course!
We are having fun with this and hope you will join us!
Remember how Ellen relentlessly pursued Oprah and her staff in an effort to get on the cover of Oprah’s magazine? Well, we are turning the tables on Ellen and encouraging her to buy her beloved Portia a customized JAMAH bag through JAMAH’s Design for your Cause program. All the while, showing support for small business and manufacturing in the USA!
This luxurious opportunity invites Portia to partner with Nancy Gale, JAMAH designer and founder, to customize the perfect handbag. In line with JAMAH’s motto, ‘be who you are,’ it is important that we offer bags to suit all lifestyles, which is why we know that Portia’s design will be Animal Free. As an integral part of the design team Portia will participate in the entire design process, from fabric sourcing to color choice and treatment, to size, style and features. As Portia creates the accessory of a lifetime she will have the chance to visit the fabric houses and factory for the true design experience. Once the bag is complete it will be appropriately named The Portia and each time it sells a percentage will go to her designated charities. This JAMAH experience provides the ability to promote her cause and involve both Ellen’s and Portia’s fans. The complete involvement in designing her personal JAMAH bag becomes about being who she is, in every way of life.
And we know Portia is a JAMAH girl, especially since she so eloquently rebutted Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s question about gay marriage on THE VIEW (http://tiny.cc/JtP5Q). That Portia is a girl who can be who she is!! And if Brad and Angelina love JAMAH bags, shouldn’t Ellen buy one for Portia?
