The synergy of the like-minded causes of Women’s Fund of El Paso and Jamah is evident. The Power of the Purseevent supports scholarships that are awarded to single mothers and other women who ordinarily would not be able to attend college. IN TRUE FASHION’s program gives high school students an opportunity to gain experience in team projects and connects them to various functions of the fashion industry.
The Women’s Fund of El Paso is hosting this year’s fundraising event entitled “Bubbles, Baubles & Bags.” The auctions feature celebrity-donated bags, accessories and other items. The Power of the Purse event is on May 7, 2009.
